Authorities in Fujairah have confirmed that no injuries were reported after drone debris caused a limited fire in the emirate on Tuesday morning (March 3). According to the Fujairah Media Office, debris fell following the successful interception of a drone by air defence systems, sparking a fire at both Fujairah Port and the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone. The fires were quickly brought under control and normal operations have since resumed. Officials also confirmed that loud sounds heard across parts of Fujairah on March 3 were the result of successful air defence interception operations. Authorities said the situation remains fully under control and urged the public to rely on official sources for updates and avoid spreading unverified information. The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions, with air defence systems intercepting multiple threats in recent days.
