Reckless driving punishment: 4 Emiratis to work as petrol station attendants, gardeners

  ABU DHABI - Four Emirati men will be spending up to three months working as petrol station attendants and gardeners as punishment for reckless driving in the capital. The General Prosecution handed out the punishment of community service for the four, according to the Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department on Monday (April 3). The Emiratis will be evaluated on their performance and behaviour while doing community service and could be sentenced to jail if they fail in the evaluation. In March, an Emirati man was ordered to clean Abu Dhabi streets for three months for reckless driving. In February, another Emirati who performed dangerous stunts on Dubai's City Walk was ordered to clean Dubai roads for 30 days.
