The UAE's Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has debunked rumors claiming that lifetime Golden Visas are now available for certain nationalities. The ICP called these reports—circulated by some websites and foreign consultancies—completely false, stating that no category of visa grants permanent residency under the existing laws. “All Golden Visa applications are processed through official UAE government channels only,” the authority stressed. One consultancy office based outside the UAE had claimed to offer lifetime Golden Visas through "simplified procedures." ICP said these unauthorized services have no legal basis and warned the public against falling prey to scams. Legal action will be taken against anyone spreading misinformation or exploiting people’s hopes of building a life in the UAE for financial gain. ICP also reminded applicants to verify information only through official sources, such as the ICP website or smart app, and to call 600 522222 for inquiries. “The UAE is committed to maintaining transparency and safeguarding the rights of applicants,” the authority said.
