Ministry of Energy says diesel and petrol to be costlier by 12 fils

  ABU DHABI – The Ministry of Energy announced on Tuesday that diesel and petrol prices in the UAE will go up by 12 fils next month. The ministry said in an announement that the per litre price of Super 98 will go up from this month's Dh1.89 to Dh2.01 in September; Special 95 – Dh1.90 (up from Dh1.78); E Plus-91 – Dh1.83 (up from Dh1.71) while diesel price will be Dh2 per litre in September (up from Dh1.88 in August). The increase in fuel prices is the sixth this year. The ministry increased fuel prices in January, February, March, May and last month due to fluctuations in international crude oil prices.
