Online theory tests now available for aspiring drivers in Sharjah

The Sharjah Police General Command's Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department has added a new service called "Smart Theoretical Test" to their list of smart services, with the goal of improving customer satisfaction. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Ahmed Al Fardan, Head of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, have explained that the new service allows people who want to get a driver's license (and must pass a theoretical test) to take the test from wherever they are, whether at home or at work, without having to go to one of the Driving Institute's customer happiness centers. Al Fardan stated that the new service will reduce customer traffic to service centers and that it may be accessed by visiting the Sharjah Driving Institute's website (www.sdi.ae) after completing the required theoretical training. The Driving Institute will send a link to the applicant for service on the website. By clicking on it, the page's program will read the applicant's identity and verify it using the computer's or smartphone's camera, after which the test will begin.
