The Pakistan Association Dubai receives a Guinness World Record for creating the largest handprinted UAE flag.
The Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) has entered the Guinness World Records by creating the largest handprinted UAE flag with 24,514 prints from individuals representing more than 100 nationalities. The achievement was verified during a special unveiling ceremony at the Pakistan Auditorium, attended by over 250 guests, including Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE, and Consul General Hussain Muhammad. “The UAE has grown leaps and bounds over the years, becoming a beacon of tolerance and innovation,” said Tirmizi. “This initiative by PAD is a wonderful tribute to that spirit. Well done to the team whose hard work and dedication brought this powerful vision to life.” The record-breaking flag was the highlight of PAD’s “Hands of Unity” campaign, launched in celebration of the UAE’s Year of Community. The campaign involved 23 schools and universities, 39 public activation sites and thousands of volunteers. “This is our token of love and appreciation to the UAE, our second home,” said Dr. Faisal Ikram, PAD President. “This record is a testament to what can be achieved when we unite around shared values.” “This was a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey,” added Khalid Imtiaz, Joint Secretary of PAD. “Witnessing such a diverse group come together with enthusiasm and purpose was truly inspiring.” Now officially recognized, the handprint flag stands as a powerful message of gratitude, unity, and cultural harmony in the UAE.
