Jobseeker in Dubai wins Dh100,000 in Mahzooz just a week before flight home

DUBAI – A Pakistani jobseeker in Dubai is now Dh100,000 richer after winning in the weekly Mahzooz draw, organisers told Expatmedia.net on Saturday (April 16). Bilal, 43, has been job hunting in Dubai in the last two months and was just a week away from returning to Pakistan when he won in the Mahzooz draw. "After I lost my job in Malaysia, I came to the UAE because I had heard this is the land of opportunities where anyone can make it big. Mahzooz has now changed the course of my life with this Dh100,000 – I won't have to go back to my family in Pakistan empty-handed," Bilal said. The Pakistani said he started participating in Mahzooz as soon as he arrived in the UAE. “I was inspired by the story of Junaid, the Dh50 million Mahzooz winner,” Bilal said.
