Paracetamol safe, won't be withdrawn from UAE market

  The Department of Health-Abu Dhabi (DoH) clarified that paracetamol medicine is safe and will not be withdrawn from the markets. DoH cleared the misunderstanding in its official Instagram post with a warning from the Ministry of Health and Prevention about doctors prescribing paracetamol with antibiotics containing flucloxacillin.
Using paracetamol medicine with the antibiotic containing flucloxacillin may cause side effects to the patient including affecting the proportion of the gases. High-risk individuals who have received the medicine during the simultaneous dispensing will be monitored by the department specialists as well as the reports of any side effects. KSO/Expat Media
