License plate can have numbers that represent an important life event

  DUBAI – The emirate's Road and Transport Authority (RTA) launched personalized license plates in time for the end of Ramadan. The RTA's "Your Memorable Moments on Your Vehicle's Plate" program for U-Coded plates allows customers to choose plates that feature five numbers representing a significant life event like a birthday or wedding day. The personalized vehicle plates cost Dh1,620 each and are available in numbers that correspond to the years 1967 to 2017. Motorists can purchase the personalized vehicle plates either from Customers Happiness Centres in Dubai, service providers, strategic partners, the RTA website (www.rta.ae) or via the smart app 'Drivers & Vehicles.
