Philippine Airlines (PAL) has unveiled special discounted fares this August for flights between Dubai and Manila, with roundtrip base fares starting from as low as Dh1,450. An executive from PAL confirmed to Expat Media that these rates are available on select seats, depending on availability. Tickets must be purchased within August, but travel dates can extend beyond the month. Here are the promotional base fares: • Dubai to Manila round trip: Dh1,450 • Dubai to Manila one way: Dh1,020 • Manila to Dubai round trip: Dh1,580 • Manila to Dubai one way: Dh1,420 (OFW rate), Dh1,590 (non-OFW) For Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), a Dubai-Manila roundtrip inclusive of taxes comes to Dh2,385, the PAL executive confirmed. The fares are inclusive of meals and baggage allowances: Two pieces of luggage at 23kg each on most flights, and one piece of 30kg baggage for OFWs on the Manila-Dubai one-way route. Travelers can book their discounted tickets through any UAE-based travel agency. Adding more value, PAL passengers can enjoy a Dh30 discount at Brands For Less stores in the UAE by presenting their boarding pass within one month of travel. “Some discounted fares are until August 17 only,” a PAL executive told Expat Media. “Tickets are subject to seat availability.” ICA/Expat Media
