Philippine Airlines (PAL) has been named the most on-time airline in the Asia-Pacific region for 2025, after recording the highest on-time arrival performance among carriers in the region. Based on independently verified data from global aviation analytics firm Cirium, PAL achieved an on-time arrival rate of 83.12 percent, placing it at the top of the Asia-Pacific rankings. In a statement issued on Sunday (January 5), the flag carrier said the recognition reflects the collective efforts of its workforce across flight operations, ground handling, engineering, and customer service. “This proud milestone reflects the discipline, professionalism, and teamwork of the entire PAL organization in further strengthening reliability as part of our vision to become a globally recognised airline delivering world-class service with care that comes from the heart,” the airline said. The Cirium recognition places PAL alongside some of the world’s most operationally efficient airlines and highlights the carrier’s continued focus on punctuality, reliability, and passenger experience. Founded in 1941, Philippine Airlines is the oldest operating commercial airline in Asia and remains the Philippines’ only full-service network airline. Over the decades, it has played a central role in connecting Filipinos across the globe. As of January 2026, Philippine Airlines and its regional subsidiary PAL Express serve a combined total of 73 destinations, covering 32 domestic and 41 international routes, including direct services to Dubai, a key hub for overseas Filipinos in the Middle East.
