Filipinos in Fujairah can avail of consular services closer to home as the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Dubai is set to hold a consular mission on March 15 at Al Bahar Hotel and Resort. The one-day event aims to assist Filipinos living in Fujairah and nearby areas with essential consular services such as passport renewal, notarial services, civil registration, report of marriage, legal capacity to contract marriage, contract verification, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) membership renewal, Social Security System (SSS) membership, and PAG-IBIG Fund services. “The consular mission is part of our continuing efforts to bring government services closer to our kababayans, especially those residing far from Dubai,” the PCG stated.

How to register for the consular mission

Filipinos who wish to avail of these services must register in advance through an online form. Upon successful registration, applicants must upload a copy of their passport and Emirates ID. They will then receive a confirmation email with further instructions on the application process and required documents. Consular services will begin at 8am, and only those with confirmed appointments will be accommodated. The PCG regularly conducts outreach missions across the UAE to provide accessible services to overseas Filipinos. Additional consular missions are expected to be announced throughout the year.
