The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai will bring key consular services closer to overseas Filipinos as it joins the OFW Serbisyo Caravan happening on January 10 (Saturday) and January 11 (Sunday) in Dubai. The service caravan will be held at the Grand Ballroom of Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, running from 8am to 7pm on both days. The event will gather 11 Philippine government agencies, but consular officials stressed that Filipinos planning to avail services must register to secure their slots early. Responding to a query from Expat Media, the Philippine Consulate General Dubai confirmed that as of Wednesday (January 7), appointment slots for consular services were still open. “Appointment slots are still available for all consular services on January 10 and 11,” the consulate said. The consulate also addressed concerns from readers who reported difficulty accessing the general registration form. “We understand that the has already been closed. We are closely coordinating the matter with the Migrant Workers Office,” the consulate added. Officials clarified that registration links differ depending on the service and agency, and advised applicants to check which form applies to their transaction. The Serbisyo Caravan is expected to draw thousands of Filipinos in the UAE, offering a rare opportunity to complete multiple government transactions in one venue without traveling back to the Philippines.
