Philippine police have been commended for their swift action in solving the murder of online sellers Arvin and Lerma Lulu, who were gunned down in Mexico town, Pampanga. The Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon) arrested seven suspects in two days of intense operations between October 13 and 14. Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil praised the Central Luzon police force for quickly apprehending the alleged killers. "Justice cannot wait. The PNP will stop at nothing to ensure that every victim of violence receives the justice they deserve," Marbil said on Wednesday (October 16). Among those arrested were the alleged gunmen Arnold Taylan and Arnel Buan, who were tracked down by the Pampanga Police Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) in Nueva Ecija. Their testimonies led to the capture of five other suspects, including the mastermind, fellow online seller Anthony Limon, in Apalit. Initial investigations revealed that Limon owed the couple P13 million and allegedly hired hitmen to carry out the murders for P900,000. Investigators also uncovered that Limon and his co-conspirators had been involved in at least 12 other shooting incidents across the provinces of Pampanga, Bataan, and Nueva Ecija. The suspects are currently facing charges of double murder. Additional investigations are ongoing to determine the involvement of other individuals, including Limon’s spouse. CAM/Expat Media
