Beauty queen confirms she's in a relationship with Filipino-Swiss race car driver

  MANILA – What's next for outgoing Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach after she passes the crown to the next titleholder on January 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena? For one, Wurtzbach told ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo in a one-on-one interview that she will stay on with the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) as an ambassador. "I'm ready to pass on the crown to the new winner, and I'm happy and relieved that I will still be working closely with the organization even after I pass on the crown. I'm excited because I'm ready to move forward the see another girl fulfill her dream," said Wurtzbach. Her stint as MUO ambassador is still being finalized by the legal team of the organization, she added. Wurtzbach will be staying in the Philippines after the new Miss Universe is crowned to spend time with her family and shoot product endorsements then she will fly back to New York for other commitments and fulfill her dreams of being an actress in the US. She will be shuttling New York and Manila from then on. Meanwhile, Wurtzbach confirmed that she is in a relationship with Filipino-Swiss race car driver Marlon Stockinger. The couple has been dating since October last year but they have kept a low profile. What she likes about Stockinger is that he is a Filipino also and a Catholic. She also said her relationship with Stockinger is approved by the MUO although the pageant doesn't prohibit its reigning titleholders to have a relationship.
