POLO Dubai opens online contract verification link for Filipinos with flights in August

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Dubai (POLO Dubai) has opened an online contract verification link for Filipinos in the UAE with flights from August 8 to 14. According to POLO Dubai, the online form will be available until 11:59pm on Wednesday (July 13) or until it reaches 500 applicants. The form is available on https://www.polodubaiportal.org/form-page/ For Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) with flights on August 15 to 21, a link to the online submission system will be available on the POLO Dubai website from July 18 to 20. Those with flights on August 22 to 28 can find the link to the online submission system from July 25 to 27. POLO Dubai online contract verification to be fully automated soon

Meanwhile, POLO Dubai said it is expanding its coverage for online contract verification and is also working on getting the process fully automated soon. Labor Attaché John Rio Bautista sad that as part of the expanded coverage for online contract verification, upcoming submission forms for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) will include those with flights scheduled on weekdays. “Improvements will soon be introduced leading to full automation of the process and expand the coverage to benefit maximum number of OFW clients,” Bautista said in a statement sent to Expatmedia.net. On June 20, POLO Dubai launched a pilot system for a partial online contract verification service allowing applicants to submit their documents for verification via an online form. However, Filipinos with approved applications for contract verification will still need to visit POLO Dubai for payment and to claim their verified contract. The online submission forms were available to limited OFW categories, especially those with confirmed flights falling on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Expanded coverage will include those with flights on weekdays. Bautista explained that an online application may be disapproved if the flight schedule is not included in the covered dates or cannot be validated with the airline, if there are missing or incomplete, or expired documents or requirements, if the visa of the applicant is not issued in Dubai or the northern emirates. POLO Dubai processes a daily average of 500 applicants for contract verification. Before the Eid Al Adha holidays, a total of 1,007 Filipinos flocked to POLO Dubai for contract verification on a single day. The office rendered a total of 2,253 transactions on July 7 alone.
