Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, operated by Ali & Sons Co. L.L.C., recently launched the highly anticipated all-electric Macan and Taycan models. “With the introduction of the all-electric Macan and Taycan, we are preserving Porsche’s legacy of high performance while leading the way for a future of zero-emissions driving,” said Wissam Khalil, General Manager at Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The Macan, a luxury electric SUV, represents the future of performance-driven SUVs, with powertrains delivering up to 470 kW (639 PS). The Macan Turbo can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, setting a new standard in the electric vehicle (EV) market. With an impressive range of up to 612 km on a single charge and cutting-edge fast-charging capabilities, the Macan is designed for both long journeys and daily driving convenience. Alongside the Macan, the Taycan was another star of the event. The new models, including the Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo, offer enhanced driving dynamics and extended range. The Taycan Turbo S can reach 100 km/h in a blistering 2.4 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric cars available. The Taycan’s advanced 800-volt architecture allows it to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. Khalil added that these models are not only about speed but also sustainability. “These vehicles represent our commitment to reducing the environmental footprint without sacrificing the exhilarating driving experience Porsche is known for,” he said. The all-electric Macan and Taycan also bring innovative design to the fore. With sleek, aerodynamic lines and state-of-the-art interiors, both models offer a luxurious driving experience. The Macan features a spacious cabin with digital interfaces, while the Taycan’s cockpit blends Porsche craftsmanship with futuristic technology. To support its EV customers, Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi is rolling out a network of 175 kW DC chargers across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, ensuring fast and convenient charging options. ICA/Expat Media
