Potential tropical depression detected south of Arabian Sea near, India's western coast. WAM
The UAE's National Center of Meteorology (NCM) is currently monitoring a low-pressure system that is likely to strengthen into a tropical depression in the coming week. NCM has alerted residents about a low-pressure system located south of the Arabian Sea, near India’s western coast. This system is expected to move toward the central Arabian Sea and strengthen on October 14 and 15. The expected tropical depression may follow one of two potential paths: west toward the central Arabian Sea and then to Oman's coast, or west-southwest toward the central Arabian Sea and then to Socotra. According to the weather authority, tropical events can change quickly and unexpectedly. They will provide updates on any developments regarding the situation. The authority also mentioned that the accuracy of information about the situation's intensity and path will improve as it develops.
