Prank call lands man in UAE federal public prosecution

A prankster landed in the UAE federal public prosecution after he called his friend’s wife, spoke in a female voice and pretended to be his friend’s second wife. A video clip of the prank call was posted on social networking sites, which caused family problems for the man’s friend. According to records, the prankster and his friend have ended their friendship following the prank. The case is now being heard at the Federal Public Prosecution. The public prosecution is part of the UAE judicial authority, whose role is to initiate and take action on criminal cases on behalf of society members, either by referral to the court or by a issuing a decision of dismissal of the case.
