The Department of Finance in Ajman has introduced "Sahala," a government prepaid card for secure service payments through the 'Ajman Pay' platform. The main features include the improved "Ajman Payment Wallet" which allows secure payments for government fees and other services, with a limit of up to one million dirhams. The "Sahala Card" was also introduced as a prepaid card connected to this wallet, making it easy to pay service fees. The card is valid for five years and can be recharged at First Abu Dhabi Bank ATMs and service centers in Ajman. It is also Visa-compatible, providing a practical option for low-income individuals. The introduction of the prepaid card aligns with the emirate's goal to provide flexible, secure digital payment solutions by "leveraging innovative, cutting-edge technologies." It was launched at GITEX 2024, in the presence of Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department. FLE/Expat Media
