Probe launched into fire at Ramada Bur Dubai

  DUBAI – An investigation is underway to find out the cause of a fire at the Ramada Bur Dubai on Sunday afternoon (October 23). The 33-year-old hotel is being renovated after it closed down in August to make way for a mixed-use development. A spokesperson from the Dubai Civil Defence told ExpatMedia.Net that they received a call about a fire in the defunct hotel at around 3:28 p.m. Witnesses reported seeing plumes of smoke coming out from the upper floors of the shuttered property.
