A nationwide wave of patriotic displays has followed a call by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to raise the UAE flag. The “Proud of the UAE” campaign has seen slogans appear across buildings, roads, and public spaces in multiple emirates. In Dubai, electronic road signs displayed messages celebrating national pride, while residential communities including International City featured similar displays. In Ras Al Khaimah, police introduced specially branded patrol vehicles carrying the campaign slogan. Authorities said the initiative aims to strengthen community engagement and promote unity among citizens and residents. The campaign followed Sheikh Mohammed’s call on April 9, urging people to raise the UAE flag as a symbol of shared identity and national strength. Officials said the visible displays across the country reflect a growing sense of pride and belonging.
