Filipina singer and actress Rachelle Ann Go is reprising her role as Eliza in popular musical Hamilton in Abu Dhabi next year. The award-winning musical will make its Middle East debut at Etihad Arena from January 17 to February 11, 2024. Tickets start at Dh180 on etihadarena.ae In Hamilton, Go plays Elizabeth “Eliza” Schuyler, wife of Alexander Hamilton. She first played Eliza in London’s West End production in 2017. In Abu Dhabi, Go will star alongside Australian actor Jason Arrow, who plays Alexander Hamilton. The musical tells the story of America’s founding father. The musical has won a Tony award, Grammy award, Olivier award and the Pulitzer Prize. It features a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway. It is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography, with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.
