Rain continues in Dubai and parts of UAE
DUBAI – Rain fell on Dubai and the rest of the UAE on Monday (January 3) as unstable weather continued in the country for a fourth straight day. On Monday, heavy rain continued in Downtown Dubai, Jebel Ali and other parts of the emirate. Rain was also reported in Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. According to the National Centre of Meteorology, rainfall of various intensities will continue over scattered areas of the country until Tuesday. Parts of the UAE have experienced sporadic rainfall since December 31, causing floods in Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah and other emirates.
