Residents in the UAE should brace for wet and chilly conditions this weekend, as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast rainfall across coastal, northern, and eastern areas. The rainy spell is expected to begin on Saturday (February 1), with intermittent showers continuing into Sunday (February 2). The NCM has also warned of strong winds and blowing dust, particularly over open areas, which could reduce visibility. According to meteorologists, freezing temperatures may be recorded over mountainous regions on Sunday morning, while humidity levels will rise overnight, increasing the likelihood of fog formation in inland areas. Here's the detailed UAE weather forecast:

Saturday, February 1

• Fair to partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain over coastal, northern, and eastern areas. • Humid by night and into Sunday morning, with a possibility of fog or mist formation in western regions. • Light to moderate winds, occasionally strengthening. • Sea conditions: Moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Sunday, February 2

• Partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with rainfall of varying intensity in the north, east, and coastal areas. • Possible freezing conditions over mountains in the morning. • Strong northwesterly winds reaching speeds of 45 km/h, causing blowing dust. • Sea conditions: Moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Monday, February 3 – Wednesday, February 5:

• Gradual clearing with partly cloudy skies. • Humid nights with fog and mist formation in some internal areas. • Winds will remain moderate but occasionally fresh. • The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will see fluctuating conditions, ranging from rough to slight. Authorities have advised residents to stay updated on weather alerts and exercise caution while driving, particularly in foggy and rainy conditions. ICA/Expat Media
