Ramadan 2026 is expected to begin in the UAE on February 18, according to a forecast by the Emirates Astronomy Society. Chairman Ibrahim Al Jarwan shared that Eid Al Fitr will likely fall on March 20, followed by Eid Al Adha on May 27. The predictions follow the Islamic New Year celebration on Friday (June 27), which marked the beginning of the Hijri year 1447. In addition to the Islamic New Year and Ramadan, UAE residents can look forward to several other public holidays. The Prophet Mohammed's birthday is expected to be marked on Thursday, September 4. Commemoration Day will fall on Monday, December 1, followed by National Day celebrations on December 2 and 3.
