The Mercedes-Benz G 63 to be auctioned off in Dubai.

Car enthusiasts and collectors are gearing up for the exclusive RM Sotheby’s auction in Dubai, where a rare Mercedes-Benz G 63, previously owned by a Dubai royal family member, will go under the hammer. The private auction is set to take place on December 1 at the Emirates Golf Club, and presents a unique opportunity for collectors to own a piece of Dubai’s royal history. Known for its robust design and luxurious appeal, the Mercedes-Benz G 63, or G-Wagon, is an iconic vehicle favored by Dubai royals, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai was often spotted in his white G-Wagon with Dubai plate number 1. Apart from the G-Wagon, the auction will showcase an impressive lineup of high-end vehicles. These include a bespoke 2014 Pagani Zonda 760 LM Roadster, valued at over Dh44 million, and a 2017 Pagani Huayra BC Coupé, estimated to fetch Dh16 million. Other notable entries include the Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé and the Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 Roadster, each worth millions. “This is not just an auction; it’s an experience that brings together automotive legends and luxury connoisseurs,” said Alistair Miles, Regional Director of RM Sotheby’s Middle East. The event will also feature a curated collection of rare timepieces, including the Rolex Daytona “Paul Newman,” worth Dh1.46 million. Memorabilia such as Michael Schumacher’s racing suit from the 1999 French Grand Prix and Ayrton Senna’s helmet replica will also be available.
