Ras Al Khaimah confiscates 214,000 fake branded clothes
A total of 214,000 fake branded clothes was seized in Ras Al Khaimah following a raid at a warehouse there, according to Ras Al Khaimah Police. The raid was conducted by the Department of Economic Development (DED) and Ras Al Khaimah Police, who said the seized counterfeit items were worth Dh91 million. Police said the warehouse contained fakes of 28 international fashion brands that were meant to be sold at lower prices in markets across the UAE. The illegal activity was uncovered after the DED received a complaint that a company in the UAE was storing fake fashion items in abandoned warehouses in Ras Al Khaimah.
