Ras Al Khaimah Police has arrested a 20-year-old man who performed illegal car stunts in front of a police car in the emirate. Colonel Mohammed Al Bahhar, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said on Thursday (October 26) that the incident happened in the southern part of Ras Al Khaimah. Al Bahhar said that police also impounded the black Nissan Patrol used in the car stunt. The arrest was made after a video clip went viral on social media showing a 4-wheel vehicle doing stunts in front of a police patrol car. “The driver’s conduct reflected his recklessness and lack of respect for the policemen, as well as the traffic regulations and laws in force in the country,” Al Bahhar said. A team was able to track down and arrest the driver. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action against the motorist. ICA/Expat Media
