AI-powered smart gates will be installed in Ras Al Khaimah to regulate the flow of traffic across the emirate, Ras Al Khaimah Police announced on Monday (September 30). These gates will have screens that will display weather updates and road conditions. They will also be equipped with AI-powered cameras that connect to the main operations room, offering real-time traffic monitoring and quick reporting of traffic incidents. The installment of these gates is currently in progress, said Major General Ali bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, commander-in-chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police. According to Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, this is part of the broader Safe City Digital System project which aims to enhance road security and monitor traffic accidents and emergencies.
