Ras Al Khaimah launches skatepark at Saqr Park

  RAS AL KHAIMAH - A new skatepark has opened to the public in Ras Al Khaimah's Saqr Park, its latest outdoor attraction in the emirate’s largest recreational park. “The new skatepark at Saqr Park serves to enhance the active family friendly offerings of Ras Al Khaimah. It caters not only to people who love adrenaline sports, but also to those simply looking for somewhere fun to spend time with their family and friends," said Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority. The new skatepark is a key addition to Saqr Park, the largest recreational area in Ras Al Khaimah. The park offers a well-equipped outdoor space spanning 620sqm for the UAE’s growing skating community and guests to face off against a series of obstacles, including a various sized ramps, bowls, pyramids, ledges, banks and round rails. The park seeks to enhance Saqr Park’s standing as a one-of-a-kind leisure venue and is set to become a hotspot for the Emirate’s avid skateboarders, rollerbladers and BMX bike riders.
