Ras Al Khaimah rang in 2025 with a breathtaking New Year’s Eve spectacle, securing two Guinness World Records titles for the largest aerial tree and seashell images formed by drones. Dubbed "Our Story in the Sky," the event blended tradition and innovation, paying homage to the emirate's natural beauty and heritage. The show, which spanned five kilometers of the emirate's waterfront, captivated over 100,000 spectators with three dazzling acts. Shifting Sands highlighted Ras Al Khaimah’s unique ecosystems, Mysteries of the Sea honored its maritime legacy, and Guiding Starlight celebrated the Emirate’s seafaring traditions with celestial visuals. Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, expressed pride in the achievement. “Securing two Guinness World Record titles reflects our innovative spirit and cultural pride,” he said. "This show redefines how we celebrate and welcome the new year." The event provided thoughtfully designed spaces for families and bachelors, offering camping areas for outdoor enthusiasts.
