The UAE capital will soon be living la vida loca. Multi-award-winning global icon Ricky Martin is officially set to make his Abu Dhabi debut at the Saadiyat Nights concert series. The Puerto Rican superstar, often hailed as the “King of Latin Pop,” will bring his high-energy stage presence and timeless hits to Saadiyat Island on January 31, 2026 in what is expected to be one of the season’s most anticipated shows. Martin, who has sold more than 70 million records worldwide, continues to dominate the global stage. Just last week, his career-defining anthem Livin’ la Vida Loca returned to the top of Billboard’s Latin Digital Song Sales chart—over 25 years after its original release. The achievement underscores his enduring power to connect with fans across generations. This year, Martin became the first recipient of the MTV Video Music Awards’ Latin Icon Award, following a viral performance that reminded the world of his unmatched influence. His discography includes global anthems such as María, Vuelve, Vente Pa’Ca, La Mordidita, and the 1998 FIFA World Cup anthem The Cup of Life, which helped catapult Latin music into the international mainstream. Ricky Martin joins a Saadiyat Nights line-up that already includes Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi (January 10, 2026) and Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi (January 17, 2026).
