Fans of hit primetime series ROJA are in for a treat as Kai Montinola and Kyle Echarri head to Dubai for Barrio Fiesta Dubai 2026, one of the UAE’s biggest Filipino outdoor celebrations. Set to take place on February 8 (Sunday) at Zabeel Park Gate 5, the all-day event runs from 10am until sundown, bringing together music, food, culture, and live entertainment in a festive, Sinulog-style atmosphere. Kai, who placed fourth in Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11, continues to build momentum in her acting career through ROJA, Dreamscape Entertainment’s action-packed primetime series that premiered last November. In the show, she plays Ice Mercado, whose storyline becomes increasingly complex as she gets caught in a tense love triangle. In an earlier interview, Kai admitted that joining her first full teleserye was both exciting and overwhelming. “I’ll be honest – it was quite overwhelming,” she said. “But when we were locked in on the island, we really got to know each other. They’re all experienced but also very warm.” She also expressed gratitude for the guidance she received from veteran actors on set, calling the ROJA cast her “first family” in television. Kyle, who plays Olsen in the series, stars alongside Kai in one of the show’s most talked-about storylines. The growing on-screen connection between Olsen and Ice has sparked excitement among viewers, adding emotional depth to the action-heavy drama. Beyond acting, Kai continues to nurture her music career. She released her debut EP Kailedidoscope in 2025, exploring themes of love, self-worth, and emotional growth. “I will never stop singing,” she said. “Mapa-acting man ako or dancing, meron at meron talagang aabangan.” At Barrio Fiesta Dubai 2026, Kai and Kyle will be joined by Showtime hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario, along with actress Cianne Dominguez, promising a high-energy day of performances, games, and crowd interaction. Kai last performed in Dubai during Kalayaan 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where she received a warm welcome from Filipino fans. Kyle, meanwhile, returns for his third public performance in Dubai and his second Barrio Fiesta appearance, after first joining the event in 2022. Tickets are priced to be family-friendly. General admission is Dh35, while students pay Dh20. Groups can opt for the Barkada Bundle at Dh60 for four adults, or the Family Bundle at Dh50 for two adults and two children.
