Two workers died and three others were injured after the roof of a school under construction in Kalba City, Sharjah, collapsed on Sunday (September 8), Sharjah Police confirmed. Colonel Dr. Ali Al Khamoudi, director of the Eastern Region Police Department, said that emergency response teams, including the Sharjah Civil Defense, arrived swiftly at the scene. The injured, of Arab and Asian nationalities, were given first aid and transported to the hospital for further treatment. The injuries ranged from mild to moderate, while the two deceased workers were recovered from the site. Sharjah Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collapse, and specialized teams continue to secure the location. ICA/Expat Media
