The Metro link bus. RTA

The Road and Transportation Authority (RTA) announces the launch of 4 new metro link bus routes and bus route changes effective on August 30. Here are the four new routes: F39 (to replace Route 31)- from Etisalat Bus Station to Oud Al Muteena Roundabout Bus Stop 1, and back. F40 (to replace Route 31)- from Etisalat Bus Station to Mirdif, Street 78, and back. F58 (to replace F56)- from Al Khail Metro Station to Dubai Internet City, and back. F59 (to replace F56)- from Dubai Internet City Metro Station, heading northward to Dubai Knowledge Village and back. All new routes will run with a frequency of every 30 minutes. More bus route changes: 21A (to replace Route 21)- from Al Quoz Clinical Pathology Services Bus Stop 1 to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. 21B (to replace Route 21)- will run in the opposite direction, from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Al Quoz Clinical Pathology Services Bus Stop 1. On the same day, 61D will merge with Route 66. Route 95 will also be merging with Route 95A, allowing commuters to connect to Route X92. Moreover, Route 95A will be extended to cover the Jebel Ali Industrial Area, starting from Veneto to Jebel Ali Waterfront, and extending to Parco Hypermarket. Route 6 will also be shortened from the Bus Stop at Oud Metha Metro Station to Dubai Healthcare City, due to the cancellation of the sector from Al Ghubaiba Station to Oud Metha. More route changes on August 30 with Route 99 to be modified to cover JAFZA One, removing it from Route 54. New stops will also be added with F31 to add stops in The Greens and Route F45 to add in Al Furjan. Route E700 will also be changed to start from Etisalat Bus Station, instead of Union Bus Station to Fujairah. RTA also announced to be enhancing 35 bus routes to ensure timely arrivals, including Routes 6, 20B, 26, 36A, 36B, 50, 66, 83, 88, 95A, 96, 99, 320, C01, C09, C10, F03, F05, F07, F10, F18, F23, F23A, F24, F31, F45, F46, F47, F49, F53, F54, SM1, X02, X25, and X92. According to the RTA, these changes aim to enhance the daily commuting experience for passengers and have a smooth journey towards their destinations across the Emirate.
