RTA to auction 371 special Dubai licence plates

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai will auction off 371 special Dubai licence plates at its 70th online auction. Super plates R 595 and A 8348 will be the highlight of the auction, which will feature fancy number plates with 3, 4 and 5 digits. Number plates for motorbikes will also be auctioned. Participants must register on Monday (February 20). The auction will start on Monday (February 27) at 8am and will continue for five days. Bidders must have a traffic file in Dubai and a security cheque deposit of Dh5,000. There is also an entry fee of Dh120. ICA/Expat Media
