The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will host its 117th Open Licensing Plates Auction, offering 90 premium vehicle number plates, including exclusive two to five-digit combinations. The event will take place at 4:30pm on December 28 at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City. Registration for the auction is now open through RTA’s official platforms, including rta.ae, mobile app, and Customer Happiness Centres located in Umm Al Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha. Participants can also register on-site starting from 2pm on the auction day. These coveted plates are expected to attract significant interest from car enthusiasts and collectors who value unique identifiers for their vehicles. In previous auctions, similar exclusive events have seen bidding wars, reflecting the high demand for distinctive plates. The auction will feature a diverse selection of plate codes and numbers to cater to varying tastes and preferences. Attendees can bid in person or online, adding flexibility to the process.
