Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that it is extending Dubai Metro timings on Sunday (November 10) for Dubai’s largest cycling event. According to the RTA, the Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines will operate from 3am to midnight on November 10 to facilitate the Dubai Ride cycling event. The Dubai Ride will kick off early, with the 12-kilometer route across Sheikh Zayed Road open from 5am for the Speed Laps category. Cyclists are expected to start for the general race at 6:15am and finish by 8am. Careem, Dubai's bike-sharing partner, is offering free bike rentals for the event, aiming to boost accessibility for all participants. Participants are required to maintain a minimum speed of 30 km/h, with routes designed for safety and managed by Dubai Ride marshals. ICA/Expat Media
