The Road and Transportation Authority (RTA) has extended Dubai Metro's operating hours until the weekend as an influx of residents returns from their summer break. According to the agency's announcement on Thursday, the operating hours of Dubai Metro between Centrepoint and GGICO stations will be from 5am to 2am until Saturday (August 24), and 8am to 2am on Sunday (August 25). Dubai International (DXB) said it will be managing 3.43 million guests in the next 13 days as the summer break ends. Furthermore, Dubai Airports announced that DXB will handle more than half a million guests between August 31 to September 1, with the latter expected to be the busiest, accommodating 291,000 guests. "Dubai Airports is collaborating with airlines, control authorities, and service partners to ensure a seamless journey for all," according to Dubai Airports. FLE/Expat Media
