RTA launches Dh2 rides to Dubai tourist spots

  DUBAI – You can now travel to Dubai’s tourist attractions for as little as Dh2 after the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) launched new marine transport lines on Wednesday (March 9). The first line for Dubai Ferry, water taxi and abra at Creek Harbour Station connects residential areas at Dubai Creek Marina with tourist attractions at Dubai Festival City. The service is available on Saturday and Sunday, from 4pm to 11:55pm. Each trip costs Dh2. The second line for Dubai Ferry, water taxi and abra connects Bluewaters Island and Dubai Marina, and operates from Monday to Friday, from 4:50pm to 11:25pm. It is also open on Saturday and Sunday, from 4:10pm to 11:45pm. A trip costs Dh5. According to RTA, it will launch a new abra and ferry line between Souk Al Marfa on Deira Island and Dubai Creek soon. ICA/Expat Media
