The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced revised schedules for public transport and parking services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday in Dubai. The changes, which take effect from Saturday (March 29), aim to accommodate the increased demand for transportation during the festive period.

Dubai Metro timings

Dubai Metro’s Red and Green Lines will operate on an extended schedule: • Saturday, March 29: 5am to 1am • Sunday, March 30: 8am to 1am • Monday to Wednesday (March 31 – April 2): 5am to 1am

Dubai Tram timings

Dubai Tram services will follow these timings: • March 29 – March 31: 6am to 1am • March 30 (Sunday): 9am to 1am

Intercity bus services

• Route E100 (Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi) will be out of service from the afternoon of 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal. Passengers are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station during this period. • Route E102 will also be suspended during the same period. Click here for marine transport timings

Public parking and service centres

• Public parking will be free from 1 to 3 Shawwal, except for multi-level parking terminals. Paid parking will resume on 4 Shawwal. • Vehicle testing centres will be closed from 1 to 3 Shawwal, resuming normal operations on 4 Shawwal. • Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed, but Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA Headquarters will continue operating 24/7.
