Trevor Magallanes, the estranged husband of Filipina comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto, has died, triggering an emotional outpouring of sympathy from fans and celebrities on Thursday (July 31). The news came to light after Quinto posted a series of photos with Magallanes on her social media accounts, which many interpreted as a tribute to her late husband. While the actress has not yet released an official statement, the entertainment community has rallied around her with messages of love and support. “Sending you so much love. I’m so sorry for your loss,” wrote one celebrity. Others like Ogie Alcasid, Maxene Magalona, Jaya, Candy Pangilinan, and Alessandra de Rossi also expressed their condolences in the comment sections. Magallanes, a financial analyst based in the US, had been married to Quinto since 2016. The couple share a daughter named Athena. "I want to make myself clear that Rufa Mae and I are in the process of a divorce." That said, my marriage has been a shit show and I am sorry for that," he said candidly in his Instagram story.
