Salik, Dubai's toll operator, has responded to widespread inaccurate social media claims about the upcoming implementation of dynamic pricing for toll gates in the emirate. The viral post displays time slots and their corresponding fees, stating, 'Be prepared to say goodbye to AED 4 Salik rates.' It claimed that toll fees would be '0 AED from 3 AM to 5 AM' and '8 AED from 3 PM to 7 PM.' However, Salik stated that these details are false. “We wish to clarify that the publications that are being circulated on some social media platforms are inaccurate,” Salik CEO Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad said in a statement published by Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Wednesday. The company stated that these rumours are false and encouraged customers and shareholders to refer only to official sources, like the DFM and the Salik website, for accurate information and updates. "Salik is fully committed to adhering to the disclosure and transparency guidelines set by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and DFM. As always, any significant information will be promptly shared with the market first once confirmed and finalised,” the company's CEO added.  FLE/Expat Media
