Authorities in Saudi Arabia have arrested 11,077 people who entered the country illegally or were staying illegally in the country, according to the Ministry of Interior. The arrests were made between April 27 and May 3, and included 838 people who attempted to illegally cross the border into Saudi Arabia. The offense is punishable with up to 15 years in jail and a fine of SR1 million. According to the Ministry of Interior, 5,037 of those arrested have been deported. ICA/Expat Media
