Updated at 10pm A 22-year-old Indian woman who was reported missing on Saturday (September 20) has been found, her family said, thanking the public for helping find her. The missing woman, Rithika Sudhir, was spotted by a resident in Oud Metha in Dubai at around 9pm on Saturday. She had wanted to visit her old school in the area and had taken a bus and the Dubai Metro to get there from Sharjah, her father said. Rithika's family had reported her missing on Saturday morning after she visited a clinic in Abu Shagara with her elder brother. She was wearing a black-and-white striped long top and black pants. A missing person report had been filed with Sharjah Police. According to her father, Sudhir Krishnan, Rithika disappeared while her brother was in a doctor’s consultation. Her brother could not find her once he stepped out of the consultation room, their father said. The family immediately searched the clinic and surrounding areas, but later learned through CCTV footage that Rithika had exited the building’s rear entrance alone at around 8:30am. Rithika, also known as Ponnu, could not be contacted as she does not use a mobile phone, her father said. The family had relocated to Sharjah from Dubai only three months ago. CAM/Expat Media
