The Bagong Bayani ng Mundo Serbisyo Caravan is set to return to Dubai for its third run, bringing essential Philippine government services closer to overseas Filipinos in the UAE. The two-day service caravan will be held on January 10 (Saturday) and January 11 (Sunday) at the Grand Ballroom of Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, running from 8am to 7pm on both days. A total of 11 Philippine government offices will participate, offering a wide range of on-site services for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), according to Labor Attaché John Rio Bautista, in an advisory sent to Expat Media on January 3 (Saturday). The participating offices include the Office of the President, Department of Migrant Workers, Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, Migrant Workers Office (MWO) Dubai, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, Department of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and the Land Transportation Office (LTO). Filipinos who wish to avail of the services are required to register online in advance to secure a slot via: https://tinyurl.com/SerbisyoCaravan3 For the first time, the Land Transportation Office will accept requests from Filipinos residing or working in the UAE for driver’s license renewal and revision of records. The initiative aims to make government services more accessible to overseas Filipinos, allowing them to process documents, seek assistance, and make official inquiries without traveling back to the Philippines.
