The rest of the year will be a hectic one for the awardees

  HOLLYWOOD - So, what's next for the Oscars 2017 winners? Here's a rundown of projects that Emma Stone, Casey Affleck, Viola Davis, Mahershala Ali, Damien Chazelle and Barry Jenkins are set to do. Emma Stone, Academy Award best actress She will be playing Cruella de Vil in the live-action movie "Cruella". De Vil is the villainess in the animated feature "101 Dalmatians". She will also be starring opposite Steve Carrell in "Battles of the Sexes" - a biopic about tennis stars Bille Jean King and Bobby Riggs; and will star in a historical biopic about Queen Anne with Rachel Weisz and Olivia Coleman. Stone will also be in a Netflix series entitled "Maniac" with Jonah Hills, which will be released in August and November. Casey Affleck, Academy Award best actor Affleck will be directing a western movie, "Far Bright Star" and is writing the screenplay of his first feature film "Light of my Life" where he will also be the lead star. Affleck is also appearing with Robert Redford and Sissy Spacek in "The Old Man and the Gun". He also has a HBO project "Lewis and Clark", whose release date is still unknown. Viola Davis, Academy Award best supporting actress Aside from the TV series "How To Get Away With Murder", which will have its fourth season later this year, Davis will star in "Widows" directed by Steve McQueen, who helmed "12 Years A Slave". She will also be a TV movie on HBO where she plays abolitionist activist Harriet Tubman.. Davis incidentally is the first black woman to win a Tony, Emmy and Oscar. Mahershala Ali, Academy Award best supporting actor Ali stars in the musical "Roxanne, Roxanne" that was featured at the Sundance Film Festival last January and will appear in "Triple Frontier" withTom Hardy and Channing Tatum and "Alita: Battle Angel" directed by Robert Rodriguez. Damien Chazelle, Academy Award best director Chazelle, 32, the youngest person to win the Oscar best director plum, is working on the feature film "The First Man" where Ryan Gosling – with whom Chazelle worked with in "La La Land" will play Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon in 1969.
