The Sexbomb Girls are officially heading to the UAE after earlier confusion over a concert announcement that was labeled fake. Rochelle Pangilinan, leader of the popular Filipino dance group, clarified the situation through a new social media announcement confirming that Dubai and Abu Dhabi will host the first international stops of their reunion concert tour. The confusion began when Pangilinan shared an Instagram Story on Monday (February 9), labeling a circulating Abu Dhabi concert poster as fake. The post led some fans to question whether the UAE shows would push through. On Tuesday (February 10), Pangilinan posted an official announcement on her Facebook page confirming the concerts. According to the announcement, the group will perform on March 27 at the Dubai Exhibition Center and on March 28 at 321 Sports in Abu Dhabi. Tickets to both concerts are available via accesspass.ae “It started from a simple stage, and now we’re taking our hip-shaking on the international stage. Dubai and Abu Dhabi, are you ready?” Pangilinan wrote in Filipino. She also invited Filipino fans in the UAE and those who grew up watching SexBomb to attend, “boots on” for a dance “showdown”. Other members including Jopay Paguia, Aira Bermudez, Weng Ibarra and Sunshine Garcia reposted the announcement on their respective social media accounts. The UAE shows form part of “Rawnd 6” of the group’s reunion concert series. The comeback began with a show at the Araneta Coliseum on December 4, followed by a second show at SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on December 9. Additional shows were held at the MOA Arena on February 6, 7 and 8. The Sexbomb Girls rose to fame through their daily appearances on a noontime television variety show. They later starred in the afternoon series "Daisy Siete" and became recording artists known for dance hits such as The Spaghetti Song” and “Halukay Ube.” With Dubai and Abu Dhabi confirmed as their first international stops, fans in the UAE can expect a nostalgic night of signature dance moves and classic hits.
