Guess what saved SRK's mood during US detention

LOS ANGELES - Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was detained yet again by US airport immigration authorities. This was the third time Khan had been stopped at a US airport, with the star saying that the experience on Thursday (August 12 in UAE) “really, really sucks”. “I fully understand and respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks,” Khan posted on Twitter after he was detained at the Los Angeles Airport. The 50-year-old star still appeared to find humour in the situation. “The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokémons,” he said. Richard Rahul Verma, US ambassador to India, apologized to Khan following the incident. “Sorry for the trouble at LAX @iamsrk. We are working to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Your work inspires millions, including in the US,” Verma responded in a tweet. Khan answered by saying, “No trouble sir, respect the protocol & not expecting 2 b above it. It’s just a tad inconvenient. Thx for ur concern.” US assistant secretary of state, Nisha Biswal, also expressed regret. “Sorry for the hassle at the airport, @iamsrk – even American diplomats get pulled for extra screening!” Biswal tweeted. The last time Khan was detained by immigration officials was in New York in 2012, sparking an uproar among fans who accused the US of racial profiling. In 2009, Khan was detained for more than two hours at Newark airport outside New York. In both instances, the US apologized to the star. The US has denied allegations that Khan was singled out because of his Muslim name, saying that someone with the same name is reportedly on a US no-fly list.
